What happens if my bags are delayed or lost?
In the unlikely event that your baggage is lost, damaged or
stolen whilst in the care of bmibaby or one of our ground handling
agents, this should be immediately reported to the ground handling
staff at the arrival airport.
bmibaby makes every effort to locate lost bags using a world-wide
computer network designed exclusively for this purpose. Most
delayed bags are located and returned within 48 hours. To track the
progress on the location or delivery of baggage please call 0905
8282828 (Calls cost 65p per minute from a BT Landline. Calls from
mobiles and other networks will be considerably more) and choose
option four. The baggage helpline can only view files from
Nottingham East Midlands, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow
airports. All other bmibaby stations track baggage via the local
handling agent who will have access to a local telephone number to
call.
