How can I purchase travel insurance?

Travel Insurance can now be purchased at the time of booking your flight within the booking process. Simply complete the country of residence of each passenger, view the policy cover and check the tick box to confirm that each passenger has read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of their insurance policy, in particular the Conditions and Exclusions relating to all pre-existing medical conditions. For any insurance queries, including claims please contact 01623 631331 during office hours.

Who can purchase URV's single trip travel insurance policy?

URV sells travel insurance for European residents. bmibaby is currently unable to offer travel insurance to residents of any other countries. However, we strongly recommend that all passengers purchase suitable travel insurance cover. PLEASE NOTE: This insurance policy does not include winter sports cover.

Can I purchase travel insurance after I have made my flight booking?

Yes you can by clicking on the 'manage your bookings' link on the bmibaby.com homepage, however the process is quicker and easier within the booking process as we already have all of your details. Also, we don't want you to forget to book travel insurance, so we've dropped it into the section of the website where you book flights as a reminder.

Changes to Booking

What happens if I want to change my booking and I have travel insurance booked?

If you purchased travel insurance during the initial flight booking process or after booking your flight, you can still change your booking online, however if you change your travel time, dates or destination it is essential that you contact 01623 631331 (during office hours). bmibaby is not responsible for any passengers who fail to amend their travel insurance policy details.
